This stunning Mid-Century Modern vase was realized in Italy, circa 1970.
Composed of handblown smoked glass, it features a conical form that expands outward to its apex with four octagonal tiers separated by circular bands. With its clean lines and timelessly elegant form, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary.
While it is a perfectly functional vase- ideal for presenting flowers- it is also an objet d’art in its own right that would be a winning acquisition for any serious collector of first-rate midcentury glass. Excellent condition.
